BDP suspends Masitara�s campaign head

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has slapped its Gaborone Bonnington North campaign manager, Emmanuel Seretse, with a three week suspension for allegedly “decampaigning other council candidates” in the area.

Mmegi has been informed that specially nominated councillor, John Mazabathi Mokandla, has now replaced Seretse, who was suspended last week.

Yesterday, Mokandla confirmed that he is now the campaign manager for the constituency where the BDP will be represented by incumbent legislator, Robert Masitara.  “I will bring the constituency together so that we win it. We have not been visible in the area and people will see us now,” Mokandla said.
