Naledi police are investigating an incident in which the decomposed body of an infant was discovered dumped along the railway line near Gaborone West Industrial, around the evening rush hour on Monday.

Police Public Relations officer, Near Bagali, said police received a report of the grisly discovery at 4.30pm.

“Upon arrival, the police discovered the decomposed body of an infant,” he said. “At this point, there have not been any arrests or leads as to the identity of the mother or father of the infant.”
