My resignation as the vice chancellor and distinguished professor of BIUST

Being that you may be curious why I resigned, I will hasten to clearly state my reasons.
I believe in the separation of roles between the Management and Council of a University. No member of staff or student should take instructions on any BIUST Management matter whatsoever, from persons outside the Management Structure of the University. This has been compromised and I do not see how the emerging format of operation can lead us to the targeted status of an international research university that can help develop the economies of Botswana, the SADC and the African continent.
The recent disclosure by the IEC that 2,513 registrations have been turned down due to various irregularities should prompt all Batswana to meticulously review the voters' rolls and address concerns about rejected registrations.The disparities flagged by the IEC are troubling and emphasise the significance of rigorous voter registration processes.Out of the rejected registrations, 29 individuals were disqualified due to non-existent Omang...
