Propelling Bosetu into high perfomance organisation

Addressing BOSETU special Congress in Palapye under the theme, “introspection and processes for greater challenges”, Radikolo reiterated that the leadership principles aforementioned had been his leadership's pledge and commitment from day one in office and it will always be; our conviction is that these principles that we have religiously embraced and are propelling Bosetu as a high performance organisation.

Radikolo says in implementing these principles, a set of strategic goals were developed and emphasised, mainly to grow Bosetu membership by 8% by 2023, to attain revenue growth of 10% by 2023, to attain 80% customer satisfaction in all BOSETU products and service points annually by 2023 and attaining 100% compliance with all internal controls and regulatory requirements annually by 2023.

To this end BOSETU is currently experiencing a revenue growth of 15%, which far exceed the target of 10% revenue growth. Radikolo says this is due to prudent and austerity measures put in place by Bosetu treasury department, adding that the attaoned growth has since translated further into increased individual membership beneficiaries expenditure which increased from 5%-10% of the union’s budget.

Explaining the growth, Radikolo says the increase is occasioned by deliberate decisions to plough back to individual members, as the bursary grant utilised 13 million in four years, and the famous Ntshegetse Bosetu exit policy has increased from 2 million to 6 million in the last two years.
