The game was initially scheduled to start at 4pm, but was moved because of the live Botswana Television (Btv) broadcast. Rollers are currently sitting at position four with 18 points from nine matches, seven behind log leaders and city rivals, Gaborone United (GU). It will be their first game this season since they parted ways with coach, Thabo Motang. They have since roped in Portuguese gaffer, Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil who will have a not-so-simple task of closing the gap at the top. Rollers fans have proved to be very impatient especially when results are not coming and it remains to be seen whether Traguil who comes with a big reputation will settle in quickly.
Prisons XI on the other hand are sitting dangerously at position 12 with nine points, just one point above the relegation position. From nine games, they have won only two and scored only six times.
At Itekeng Stadium, Orapa United will also look to close the gap at the top, but face a tricky encounter against rookies, Eleven Angels. Like Rollers, seven points separate Orapa United from log leaders. New coach, Tawurayi Mangwiro, will sit on the bench for his first home game since acquiring his work permit.
The Zimbabwean mentor replaced, Mogomotsi Mpote, who has since joined Zebras on permanent basis. The Ostriches as Orapa are affectionately called by their supporters will once again rely on the goal scoring prowess of Omaatla Kebatho. He is the current leading goal scorer in the league with eight goals. A victory for Eleven Angels will consolidate their position in the top eight bracket. They are currently at position seven with 13 points. In other matches scheduled for today, BDF XI lock horns with Sua Flamingoes at VTM arena, while Police XI host Security Systems at Otse Police College. Extension Gunners will then take on Masitaoka later at Lobatse Sports Complex.
The game kicks off at 7pm.
