As a young person, a proponent of social justice bestowed with the honour of
leading a national structure within the Botswana Federation of Public Private
Parastatals Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) as Secretary for Gender and Women
Affairs, as a Federation we find ourselves duty bound to call for the immediate
adherence and implementation of the rule of law.

We may hold manyconferences and workshops regarding the subject of GBV but if the law is not onyour side, the perpetrators roaming freely on the streets then the victims losehope and become defeated. We need the law to be fully enforced andperpetrators be punished.
