After declaring Francistown the home of the Zebras, The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is keen to take the senior women’s games to the second city too. “We have been rotating the games between Molepolole, Gaborone and Lobatse stadiums.

We want to emulate our male counterparts and take the games to Francistown, the support that side is marvelous and that is the kind of support we need for this team,” said BFA executive member, Susan Montsho.

Montsho was speaking at a press briefing ahead of the women’s team assignment against Mauritius in the first leg of the Senior Women Africa Championships at the Lobatse Sports Complex tomorrow.
