Notwane set early pace

Thabang Ofitlhile’s strike was enough to hand former Premier League giants maximum points at the Holy Ghost Park. Toronto, as Notwane are affectionately called by their supporters, have now collected six points from their first two matches.

Stars joined the second tier league this season after buying Young Strikers’ status. Rangers have now lost their first two matches in the league and are now languishing at the bottom of the table.
Tlokweng United played to a 0-0 draw against CRACKiT City Polar. VTM played to a 2-2 draw against Matebele FC. In the north, new comers, Mbalakalungu remained seated at the top of the log after playing to a 1-1 against Sankoyo Bush Bucks.
They have so far collected four points from two matches. TAFIC played to a 1-1 draw against Santa Green. MR Highlanders and Motlakase Power Dynamos played to a 1-1 draw while the match between Chadibe FC and Peace Makers ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
