BIUST to graduate 268 engineers and scientist-24th September 2021

According to BIUST director of communications, Keoagile Rafifing, the theme for the 2021 Graduation ceremony is ‘Leveraging on Science, Technologies and Engineering for Design thinking in a changing world’

The Lucara Botswana Managing Director, Ms. Naseem Lahri will be the Guest Speaker at the prestigious event.

The University will confer degrees to a total of 268 Graduands; 224 Undergraduates and 44 postgraduates being; 96 BSc, 128 BEng, 29 MSc, 11 MEng and 4 PhDs from various academic disciplines.

“BIUST is happy and proud to note that through this graduation, it is manifesting its mission of educating, training, and preparing its students to assume a more active role in transforming our country from being reliant on its natural resources to being driven by its people’s knowledge, innovation, and invention in the fourth industrial revolution”, Rafifing told Mmegi, further adding that BIUST graduates, “ are encouraged to position themselves for business ventures in 2021 and beyond, create their own employment, partner with strategic financers for project financing.”
