According to information reaching Mmegi Sport, Jari was tested after winning the marathon that was held on June 5 in Gaborone.
The athlete has been notified and he has acknowledged receipt of the communication, according to Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (RADO) manager, Andrew Kamanga. 'The Zimbabwean runner is under provisional suspension until the matter has been concluded through a fair and impartial results management process,' Kamanga said. Jari won the men’s 42km with a time of 2:16:10 while Jeremia Shaliaxwe came second. Local athlete, Godiraone Nthomphe finished third, clocking 2:18:19.
