The young girl hailing from Letlhakeng village went to compete in Florida after she was crowned the Royal International Miss Botswana 2021 queen as well as the winner for Sweetheart category.

At the international pageantry in Florida, she scooped the following titles; The winner of the Royal International Miss, Miss Top Model of the pageantry, top 16 international finalist, Regal Excellence award, best interview award, best evening gown and the casual wear forth runner-up.

In an interview with Arts & Culture, she said her inspiration has always been to inspire fellow young girls to achieve and also be a community activist to represent the marginalised.

She explained that Royal International Miss Botswana resonated well with her as its objectives were in line with what she is passionate about. She managed to outshine other girls from different countries across the world. “Preparations have been so intense after being crowned on a national level. I would like to appreciate Beauty Hub Academy for polishing my skills and ensure that I am ready for the international stage. I have been doing community work where I was working with Ambrose Academy that is an inclusive school.

I also donated stationery to them. I have a lot in store that I will embark on,” she said. Bikimane said she is forever indebted to her parents because she won an international title, which opened so many doors for her.

However, she explained that her biggest challenge was finding sponsorship. She is no stranger to the pageantry ramps, she scooped Miss Bright Future Botswana in 2020 first princess and in 2021 she won Miss Petite Botswana 2021.

Furthermore, she explained that her journey did not end there as she aspires to be Miss World one day. She advised other aspiring queens that their dreams would be valid when they believe in themselves.

She came back to the country yesterday (Thursday). “I would like to apreciate my director Makgarebe Nthoiwa who accorded me the support throughout this journey, my designer Boikobo Gaobinelwe who prepared my wardrobe, my director from Beauty Hub Academy who has been training and preparing me extensively for the whole competition, my family and most importantly God because he is the one who made everything possible,” she said.
