It was held at Paw Paw Farms about 10 kilometres from Maboane in Kweneng West. Only a handful of people attended the event.
The venue was far from the main road and there were a few signs that directed people.
As such some people got lost and gave up on attending the event while some few others that managed to find the venue had to sweat before locating it. As if that was not enough, performances started late and only a few artists on the line-up showed up at the event, which turned out to be a great disappointment for many revellers.
Even though the turn up was poor, few artists who graced the event did not let it affect their performances. Amongst those who showcased a splendid perfomance were Alfredo Mos, Skelem Key and DJ Eddie.
It was unfortunate for most of stall owners as many of them made a loss. They complained of the long distance to the venue and poor coordination.
In an interview with Showtime, the event coordinator Tebogo Kgaodi said the main objective of hosting the event was to promote the venue that he was using as a camping site.
He added that he was happy with the feedback he got from revellers adding that many people especially from the cooperate world have applauded him for coming up with such a great initiative. 'In life we all start somewhere. We have to start small and grow with time. All these big events and companies started small.
I am confident that with time this event is going to grow into something big. Right now I am happy that we have finally launched this place,' he said. He also explained that he was not aware of why many artists did not pitch at the event.
He added that none of the artists who agreed to showcase at the event informed him why they did not pitch for the event. He pointed out that many local artists liked being booked in many events on the sane day and same time, which hindered them from keeping their promises.
He explained that was the reason why many promoters lose faith in them. He urged local artists to refrain from that saying that local entertainment was small and therefore they had to keep up to their promises with clients.
