Premier League starts on October 22

According the final draft fixtures released over the weekend, four fixtures are lined up on October 24 with three others scheduled to be played the following day. Defending champions, Gaborone United (GU) kickstart their title defence against BDF XI at Lobatse Sports Complex in the afternoon.
On the same day, new comers, Eleven Angels will make their Premier League debut at home against Morupule Wanderers.
The match is scheduled to take place at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium at 4pm. Both sides were recently given a second chance after initially failing the Club licensing requirements. Another Premier League rookies, Holy Ghost will be away to Jwaneng Galaxy while Nico United host Sua Flamingoes at Sam Sono Stadium.
On Sunday, Township Rollers will host Mogoditshane Fighters while Prisons XI take on Security Systems. Police XI will then host Extension Gunners at Otse Stadium.
The highly anticipated Gaborone derby between Township Rollers and GU is scheduled to take place in week five. The two giants are once again touted as early contenders for the league title.
Meanwhile, despite the release of the fixtures, there has been no announcement yet of the title sponsor for the league. The Botswana Football League (BFL) has been reportedly talking to few potential sponsors but nothing has been finalised.
