BITC, Kalafhi partner for GEB 2022

As part of the agreement, Kalafhi has been tasked with mobilising companies within the health sector to exhibit at the expo.
BITC will host the GEB 2022 effective November 1-4 under the theme 'Reimagining our economy for a better tomorrow through digitalisation and the application of robust export-led strategies'. GEB is a major trade and investment platform offering exhibitors an opportunity to do business in one of Africa’s stable and fastest-growing economies as well as the southern African region.
Kalafhi’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Michelle Wright said the health pavilion at the Global Expo 2022 presents itself as an interactive platform not only to increase health promotion and education but to come together and discuss ways of improving the entire health and wellness ecosystem with the proactive involvement of the private and public sectors.
“This expo presents opportunities for Botswana-based and international companies to meet and engage with buyers and sellers to participate in insightful panel discussions and enter into partnerships. I call upon the health providers who wish to exhibit their products and services at the expo to purchase stalls,” Wright said.
Currently, Kalafhi has three clinics in Gaborone; Main Mall, Village and Tlokweng. As part of its five-year expansion plan, Kalafhi One Day Hospital at Fairgrounds Mall is under construction and is expected to be finished next month.
The one-day hospital will serve as a referral hospital for the clinics to deliver a level of quality service to the clients. Dr Matlhogonolo Mongwa-Mouwane and Barolong Mouwane founded Kalafhi Medical Centre in 2018. It is an organisation that offers healthcare services with a twist.
