The album titled, ‘Leano la poloko’ consists of 10 songs composed by Agnes Balapi, Lathang Molonda, Thaamane Oagile and Doreen Seleke. The album was recorded at Sound Lab Studios in September. Plan of Salvation Singers are members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Botswana and were founded in 1989 by two young Adventists ladies namely Itshokeng Mokgowe, Oagile and later on other members joined at different intervals as the group continued to abound in grace.

In an interview, Plan of Salvation Singers group leader Molonda said when they started more than two decades ago, the mission was to spread the gospel of God through music at Nokaneng and the surrounding areas. He said along the way the group lost some of its first and active singers. Molonda also said after taking a time off many years ago, they finally regrouped to record their first album. “Our main promoter Mogolodi Modibu stood up to make sure that we record this album. Back then we just sang and didn’t have any record to our name.

This is our first album and it contains a lot of messages,” he further revealed. Molonda said they came up with the title Leano la poloko because they want people to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ. “Everything in this world is just temporary therefore we should have a plan of salvation,” he highlighted. He said for a long time people loved their music and just didn’t know who they were. “Glory and honour goes to the Lord for the provision of his power and grace in the accomplishment of this first time project. It is through this project that we will forevermore marvel at the mystery of the plan of salvation, which was set in perfect love, even long before the foundations of this earth,” he further pointed out.

Molonda said they will launch their album officially next year.
