'The family had come to Jwaneng from Thankane to buy feeds for their livestock and also buy groceries for the family. The child was alone at the back of the van, and when the car hit bumps, she fell out of the car and unfortunately got hit by the trailer the car was pulling and lost her life,' he said.
On another incident police are investigating an incident where a man beat her partner to death. The couple who were staying together in Sese Village, a few kilometers from Jwaneng fought after the girlfriend failed to come come home the previous night. Upon coming home the following day, the partner took her to the nearest bush to beat her until she lost her life.
'I urge people to desist from taking matters into their own hands. Violence has never been the solution and it is easy to kill someone these days,' Mafoko said.
