Mpho Sebina to perform in USA

The talented singer has been spearheading the local Naked Soul sessions in Gaborone, which are been held annually since inception in 2016.
The event is a live music performance platform meant to promote local musicians. After many years on the local shores, the Naked Soul will be trying on the international space.
Mpho Sebina is expected to stage her performance at Home Rule Records 702 Kennedy St Nw from 6pm till 8pm. Speaking to Arts & Culture, Mpho Sebina said Naked Soul is her brainchild as such she is excited to get the opportunity to share and export this local brand to the international market. She explained that this exposure will be of benefit to herself and her Naked Soul brand.
“It’s a beautiful way to network and build relationships with The Diaspora and I am also looking forward to connecting with the local artists from there from music, fashion to film,” Mpho Sebina said.
Furthermore, she said people can expect a showcase of Botswana artistry through music and storytelling as she feels Botswana has so much to offer. She said the world needs to hear more about Botswana, therefore it is through these activities that Botswana can get to be known on the international stage. Entrance for the Sunday event at Washington DC will be free, however, donations are welcome.
Mpho Sebina also said she has a lot in store including plans to drop an EP during the year. She stated that the EP will feature collaborations with several female artists across the African continent.
