Miss Botswana prepares for Miss World

In a statement, Miss Botswana Organisation said it appreciated the support thus. It added it was looking forward to a stronger bond as ”we hold hands” to ensure Chombo's dream of returning the Miss World Crown to home comes to fruition.
“The Miss Botswana Organisation would like to appeal to the public to invest in Miss Botswana 2022's journey to the crown. Alone we can only do so much but together we can make it happen. Lesego has round the clock assistance from the Miss Botswana team for all her reign related and personal needs,” said Tshepiso Solomon, the organisation's spokesperson in the statement.
“Her calendar, daily private and work related matters, personal grooming and styling are all in the hands of the team behind her which includes: Pr and communications, photography & Videography, Chaperone, Personal Assistant, Stylist, Wardrobe Designers/Retailer, Hair and Makeup Artists, Driver and Social media management.” The organisation also encouraged the local corporate and private and public sector to invested in coming together to ensure she brings the nation to the ultimate success of her time on the throne as she works tirelessly to bring home the Miss World Crown.
“We are calling out to all interested investors to aid in Readying Miss Botswana Lesego Chombo for the Miss World Pageant. There is great need for financial aid as all the preparations for her to succeed are none that can be bartered or paid in kind. The organisation’s daily running in keeping Ms Chombo’s house in order is a financially strenuous one,” Solomon said.
“The team is daily seeking out her next engagement and partnership to strengthen her ties with Batswana as well as forge mutually beneficial relationships and preparations are at this time in their implementation stages with the first order of business being the official announcement of the Miss World Pageant dates and location this weekend.” Solomon added Chombo's Beauty with a Purpose Project would be launched before the end of January and she will be announcing its commencement with a Facebook live very soon. “Dates will be shared through the press and social media.”
