Cloud9 night club reopens

The nightspot opened doors for ‘groovists’ Friday night after almost a two-month closure. The owners say partygoers can expect a big night out every time they visit the spruced up venue, which is now very spacious.
The management said they expect the club to become one of the top night clubs and compete with some of the up market ones around the city having gone through frequent name-changing and management in recent times. Manager Zain Aftermath said besides increasing the space of the club for both general and VIP lounge, the joint will offer improved service for their clientele.
“The club now has a bigger stage, has a better ambience, improved VIP lounge which now has its own bar, we have made it even more spacious across both sections with better packing and security.
These are the things that will give us an edge over our competitors. Our customers can expect the best service when they party down the night. We want to bring in a sparkle to stay ahead of the competition and give the so-called up market lounges a run for their money,” Aftermath said.
He stated that the general section now has a capacity of up to 200 people while the VIP Lounge could accommodate 70 patrons. He said their idea is to empower local young talents such as DJs and musicians by giving them the platform to perform at the nightclub.
