'I decided to drop the song on May 31 because it was my son Kenneth Nakedi's birthday so this was a way of celebrating God's gift,' Kabo Thaelo told Arts & Culture.

With 10 years experience in the music industry, Kabo Thaelo believes the song could become a hit. He said his previous project called 'O lefika laka' featuring Dr Tawanda uplifted his talent.

'I am the song writer of all my songs. The song caters for both youth and elders. It gives hope for the hopeless and peace to all. The song was recorded at J Black Studio and it was a good experience working with them. The house gospel A le bokwe means we should praise God and give thanks for the gift of life. For me to drop this house gospel is that I have learned a lot from my previous performance in South Africa that you can sing Gospel in many ways having learnt from the likes of Sinky Mathe, Tau Diarora and Moleseng,' he said.

Kabo Thaelo says he started singing gospel music in 2010 and currently has five albums and DVDs under his belt. All the songs were recorded at Emojo Records. His first album, ‘God will make a way’ was released in 2010 while his second album, ‘Re kopantswe ke Morena Jesu’ featuring Mantshwabisi was released in 2012. ‘Sebaka se fedile’ and ‘There is power’ were released in 2014 and 2019 respectively. In 2021, Kabo Thaelo released another album titled ‘Bakereste ke ta roma mang’ which has eight tracks. In 2019 he won a best organiser award in Gospel Revival Show which was held in Francistown, Cheduchoga.

The singer has encouraged his followers to keep on supporting him. He said he would be launching his CD on Saturday at Enclave Hotel during Kenneth and Lechedzani's birthday celebration and also at Batswapong Meet Festival on July 15, 2023. He also has another performance scheduled for Horse and Dog racing in Pilikwe on July 17, 2023.
