This comes on the back of a reported squabble between Double Action and Gaborone United (GU) in the run up to the DTC Botswana Women’s Championship finale held on Saturday.

Double Action reportedly accused GU of ‘under-the-table’ approach to poach the club's key players. The Reds were said to have shown interest on the attacking duo of Lesego Radiakanyo and Ontlametse Gaonyadiwe, However, their attempts were quickly rejected by Double Action. “I will not sell to any club locally but you know we are big brand.

We will continue to be active in the market. But what GU did is so wrong. These are the things that kill our football. You cannot talk to my players behind my back just days before we play the Championship; that is so wrong. What is most disappointing is that the person involved is a BFA NEC member, that is so wrong,” Sesinyi told Sport Monitor.

He admitted that he received letters of interest from GU. But the Reds overstepped the channels of approach and went on to discuss personal terms with the Radiakanyo and Gaonyadiwe.

Some bit of rivalry has developed between the two sides in the just ended season. GU presented themselves as a strong opponent after poaching some league talents from Double Action's jaws. The Reds are said to be offering mouth-watering incentives and local stars are enticed by the idea of joining the club. The Star Stripes have, however, managed to pip GU to the DTC Botswana Women’s Championship win and Sesinyi took a slight jibe at rivals after the triumph. “I have been in this game for a very long time. I am not new.

I have seen all the tricks being played and I know how to deal with those. They should desist from that or else we will be forced to take necessary action. This is a big brand and we will continue to show on and off the field,” Sesinyi. Double Action over the weekend successfully defended the championship and will return to the inter-club continental competition for the third consecutive time.
