This was a decision made by a number of people who chose to go and spend their weekend at Dipopolere at Mogobane where the Colourful People Entertainment hosted its second Safari Sunset Picnic.

A number of people adhered to the Safari theme and made sure they made a fashion statement with their choice of clothes. Green and beige were the dominant colours. Moreover, Kabelo Tiro also famed as Scavenger who was a surprise act, treated the audience to a splendid performance, as it is the norm with him. His energetic performance lit the whole venue as people begged for more. He sung some of his popular songs such as BaGammagwato, Semakaleng and others.

He got the night crawlers dancing the night away through his brilliant delivery. His performance paved the way for South African artist, Semito, who seemed to have stolen most of the women's hearts with his cuteness and amongst all, beautiful songs. He treated the audience with Qhakaza, Babize, Ndizozisola, Ungayiphindi and the famous Ungowami.

He got the audience sing along his songs of which most were love songs. Furthermore, the day’s DJs did a splendid job. They made sure they each played music that catered for different people. Coupled with that when the DJs played the famous O nketsang, it got people flocking towards the stage where they danced the famous dance step that has turned into the nation’s dance. The same dance moves were danced to songs such as Thathi Sgubhu by Bongo Maffin, the late Momo’s Ulla and others. Meanwhile, the event coordinator, David Letshwiti, explained that the Safari Sunset Picnic emanated from the country’s focal strength as a tourism attraction destination.

He stated that they saw it fit to bring the experience of the safari lifestyle and invited their patrons to take part in that getaway event. It was packed with multiple activities that exuded a true feeling of what it is to enjoy the attraction they pride ourselves in, whilst at the same time enjoying the convenience of being closer to home.

He said the event was themed; Our Pride Our Destination) #etelamogobane. He further pointed out that Safari Sunset Picnic was anchored around two components of the tourism conversation attraction and fun park experiences. During the day, there were activities such as boat cruise, paint ball, darts, horse riding, quad bikes and jumping castles.
