GBV still a concern-Kgosi Pule

“Our area has established a committee that deals with GBV issues since we have realized that some residents are not reporting to the police, but they are being abused.
This committee is helping us to spread the message and also to educate those who are being abused to come forward so that they get help. These cases are reported week in and week out in this area. However, since the establishment of this committee, we are slowly experiencing a decline in matters. Our committee works closely with the police,” Kgosi Pule said.
She said the committee holds public education seminars and visits homes that have such cases to give counselling to children as well as the family. Pule also pleaded with residents of Old Naledi to take or drink alcohol responsibly as it is one of the contributing factors. “Mathata ke gore bangwe ba lwa jaana ba tswa bojalweng kana ba sena go nwa madi a di rent ko bojalweng.
