He explained that the songs in the EP hold pieces of his soul. He said the first track serves as an introduction, while the seventh acts as the outro. Uber Prync 3G stated that the lead single in the EP called Water For Me dropped on July 24, 2023.
“Grace Season draws inspiration from my life in general. It reflects on my personal experiences, including the highs and lows, and is heavily influenced by my Christian faith. The EP was produced in Gaborone.
The production process began earlier in the year and continued until July, indicating a thorough and dedicated effort,” he said. Flacko Grandson composed all the songs on the EP whilst Eyes of the Brandon created the cover art for the EP. Uber Prync 3G also explained that Diamond Melodies was the driving force behind the entire project. He said before Grace Season, he had released several singles, including Been Waiting, True Identity, Let’s Get Goated, and Pray, which featured collaborations with other talented artists. “Grace Season is more than just a collection of songs; it’s a reflection of my life’s journey, blending my personal experiences with my Christian faith.
The title Grace Season hints at a season of grace, which is a central theme in my music. It is a therapeutic project for me, allowing me to share my thoughts, emotions, and my Christian way of life with my audience. The EP is a significant step in my music career, as it is my first EP release and promises a deeper connection with my listeners,” he said. Uber Prync 3G’s musical journey is traceable to 2018 following the release of his first solo single Been Waiting in December of the same year.
The talented rapper said he has faced several challenges since becoming a musician including financial limitations to fund his projects and fewer booking opportunities due to a relative scarcity of Gospel shows. However, he stated that he has also achieved significant milestones along the way. He said his work was featured on Hope Alive Radio in South Africa on a Christian Hip-Hop show.
Furthermore, he indicated that he also has upcoming collaborations with South African artists lined up, which suggests his growth and recognition in the industry. Looking ahead, he sees his career continuing to elevate.
He added that he planned to walk with God and follow His guidance, implying a faith-driven approach to his music and career. The artist advised emerging artists to stay true to their passion, be resilient and trust in God’s plan for their career. He also urged them to use their music as a form of therapy to express their inner thoughts and emotions.
