Despite its infant status in the tourism space with just three years in business, the travel agency is making huge strides in becoming a top destination management entity in the local market.
The company is a destination management company that specialises in travel trips, flight tickets for both domestic and international travel, incentives tours for leisure, church and conference arrangements, amongst others.
Glam Safaris, whose services also extend to car rentals and tourism information services, boasts of an expert team of four to create incredible travel experience for different clients’ preferences. Jessica Molefhi, a representative of the company, told BusinessMonitor that Glam Safaris has tailor made packages as per clients’ requests.
For the festive season, she says they will be promoting domestic travel offering three day trips to Goo-Moremi Gorge and Makgadikgadi Pans. “We are on the brick of penetrating a lucrative market in a rapidly growing industry. Glam Safaris is a go-to-travel agency for either luxury trips, glamping trips and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) tourism. The team makes sure sophisticated travel experience is delivered. As the slogan, ''Your world to experience'' (says), we have packages and trips that cover all continentals. We also make sure to send our customers to places where we have been to before or places ourselves will go to,” Molefhi said.
“Our services are at the top of market and we provide luxury services with prestige values. We also have solid and fruitful strategic alliances with service providers hence offer competitive prices.” Molefhi further said Glam Safaris is raising its hand in a fast growing local tourism scene and eyeing to be counted amongst the leaders in the regional scene.
“Locals are warming to exploring Botswana, which creates an opportunity for travels and tours companies like us to take advantage and create packages that meet this demand. We also have a lot of foreigners who have been flocking to Botswana to holiday here,” she said. “Our tourism industry is recognised internationally which creates an opportunity for us to sell Botswana at an international level as well.
Fortunately, most of the local travel agents have been working together to promote and sell Botswana.” Glam Safaris was amongst the local tourism entities who showcased their products at the Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) domestic travel campaign activation held recently in Gaborone.
