Murumba Pitch, Mhaww Keys to perform at Coolerbox Picnic

In an interview with Uncle Dipopae, whose birth name is Michael Sebaka, he explained that they want to have mature, loving, fashionable, beautiful and a good company of good people during the event. He added that the inspiration came after realising that Kanye native DJs did not get much recognition and bookings in mainstream events.
Therefore, he pointed out that the event was to set a platform for them to showcase their talent. Furthermore, Sebaka said the event has grown from the first edition adding that the upcoming event is the seventh edition. “We have decided to add popular international acts, Murumba Pitch and Mhaww Keys to perform at the event. MCs for the day are Hey Nyenaaa and Kagiso de Klerk. Among them will be DJ’s such DJ Stu, Lyric, Lez, Kyno, Lyric Rudo, Silva T, Swayve, Hapex Guru, BlazeKnight, Piano Heist and many more. The event venue will be located at a nice scenery along the way to Mmakgodumo Dam. The security will be intensive as it will be beefed up since the event is of a greater magnitude,” he said.
He added that his dream is to grow the event and be able to host it at various locations around the country to showcase local talent. “This is not the first time I organise an event of such magnitude. I have hosted Gamaila Back to School which happens around February every year. I rose to fame by hosting the Kiddies Festival which I can say has been successful as this year will be the fifth year hosting it. As such I have the experience to pull up a successful show,” he explained.
Tickets for the picnic sell for P150 double, P80 single and P120 at the gate. They are sold at Spar and Choppies shops, Webtickets kiosks and online.
