Whilst getting into the venue was tedious because of the uncontrolled traffic, inside the venue the attendants got their monies worth. Unlike most events, all the artists on line up turned up for the event and delivered their A-game performances.

Whilst the highlight of the night on the entertainment front was South Africa Llyoiso, Musa and Thabsie, the locals gave them a run for their money on stage.

With the ongoing debate that Botswana has more than enough talent to attract masses for an event, the local artists billed for the Leteisi on Fleek had a point to prove.

Firstly it was the nostalgic to have Captain Dira, Ditiro Leero and Dr Vom all on the same line up.

Leero who recently released his much awaited album was first to jump on stage. His shining moment however was perhaps when he later joined Dr Vom born Kangangwani Mogocha on stage as the pair dished out their “Tsaya Thobane’ hit song.

Clad in his usual attire Dr Vom further performed his songs such as Tlhabano. Other locals like female jazz artists Nono Siile , Dj Frost, rock band Wrust, Dj Lexx also had attedants on their feet.

But it was the experience of Dj Fresh who took the mood to a whole new level. By 11Pm the mood was already up the roof when Charma Gal and her full band went on stage. Charma Gal was in her element alongside her dancers as she performed some of her greatest hits as she pumped up the mood.

The man of the moment Llyoiso got on stage as cameras flashed, most gripped tight to their friends and lovers as the 25-year dished out his popular soulful songs from his seasons debut album.

His fellow countrymen Musa and Thabsie had also earlier rocked the crowd.

Organised by Colourful People Entertainment, the popular ‘Leteise On Fleek’ event lived up to expectations as the sound and lighting did not disappoint. Its supporters also packed the Bojanala water front venue and danced and sang the night away.
