Patrons of the Naked Soul Picnic proved that little rain could not extinguish the spark of excitement as they waited anxiously for the organisers to deal with the technical issues caused by the rain. The event started on a back foot because of the rain and revellers had to wait for quite a long time without any sounds playing nor live performances but that did not dampen the patrons' spirits.

They waited patiently until everything was back on track. Looking exquisitely as they were, with a bit of rain drizzling, they patiently waited having their drinks in the meantime. After a long wait, the organisers got everything in order and a pleasing number of patrons in attendance started to jam to some good music.

DJ NSI, who is a female deejay, was the first one to captivate the revellers and make them forget about the time they spent idling. She delivered a set comprising of hot Amapiano trending songs. Revellers enjoyed most performances rooted on their camp chairs as the event permitted one to just sit back and enjoy some good soothing music because of its elegancy. But all that changed when renowned South African artist, Shekhinah, took to the stage to deliver her performance.

Born Shekinah Thandi Donnell, the artist delivered an electrifying performance that left people yearning for more. Her electrifying performance started with songs from her debut album ‘Rose Gold’. Her song ‘Suited’ proved to be the most besotted song from her performance as revellers sang in synch with her from the start till the end. The 29-year-old incessantly performed other hot songs like Please Mr, Different and Thirsty from her debut album. She also performed songs from her second album dubbed Trouble In Paradise.

And from Trouble In Paradise, she performed Fixate, which was one the most requested songs. She closed off her performance with the song, Questions. Meanwhile, Mpho Sebina who is the co-promoter of the event, also did wonders on her performance. The local songbird with beautiful acoustic melodies captivated the patrons as much as Shekhinah did. Mpho Sebina kept her fans entertained with songs like No Evil from her Neo album and Lora from her Lora album. She took to the stage two times on the night before Shekhinah performed and after she performed. Other performances from the night came from Ban T, Frostbite, Thato Jessica, and Marcus Harvey who hails from the neighbouring South Africa.
