Jazz Mu Toropo, a brain child of Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa and Colorful People Entertainment’s African Attire on Fleek’s collaborative festival is earmarked to be one of the biggest events for jazz lovers and Ghetto fleekers, giving them a chance to get together in one place.

The South African artists will be joined by some of the local music titans such as Khoisan, Lizibo, Dr Vom, Kabelo Tiro, Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa and others. Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa manager, Diamond Daniel said they are anticipating a hug audience as tickets have been selling like fat cakes.

He said the collaboration of jazz and African Attire on Fleek events left social media in a frenzy as more revellers showed love and support for the great move. Daniel anticipated that the event would be graced by thousands of both jazz lovers and fleekers from Francistown and areas as far as Orapa, Maun and Masunga. He said they partnered with Colourful People Entertainment after realising that their events were scheduled a week apart. “We have the same target audience and we teamed up so that we can have the same crowd enjoy jazz and embrace the African culture on the same day. This shows unity and growth in the music industry to see great events coordinators working together for a common goal of bringing entertainment to the people,” he added.

'The theme of the event is Xhape, which is a black garment worn by the Hosanna dancers and Xhosa attire for the golden circle experience. The Xhape attire will particularly embrace the Ikalanga culture,' he added. Daniel also explained that in general, people are allowed to embrace the different African cultural attires during the same event for cultural diversity purposes. He said there will be variety of indigenous food sold at different stalls during the event. He said they have hired private security together with bouncers.

Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa manager said that this will be the second time the SA Afro Pop artist, Ntando will be performing in ‘The City of All Things Precious’. The Nono hit maker last gave a sizzling performance in 2019, which was dubbed by many as the best performance of the year at the African Attire on Fleek event.

The Former Idols contestants Viggy and Virginia Qwabe known by their stage name the Qwabe Twins will be making their debut performance in Francistown. Golden circle tickets will be sold at P500 and P300 for double and single respectively whereas general tickets will be P380 for double and 220 for single tickets.
