The Zimbabwean gaffer also revealed that he too as an individual is going through a rough patch. He also said he fears he may lose his job because of the poor run the Ostriches are currently experiencing. “I am very worried about my position as the head coach.

I believe that we will be able to turn things around and it will not be easy at all,” he said. Regarding the personal problems he is going through, coach Mangwiro said that coming into the game against VTM, he lost his mother. “With me I am going through a very difficult time.

I have just lost my mother. I was here still, and I was sick in the past few days. You could hardly see me being that engaged,” Mangwiro said. Additionally, Mangwiro appealed with the loyal fans of Orapa to rally behind the team as this is the time they really need them most.

“I know the frustrations out there but let’s face reality and be seen to be united as at this juncture it is when we need your support the most,” he pleaded. Mangwiro said at the end of the day, the decision lies with the management. He said he is ready to put his head on the chop if it is what Orapa needs to get back to winning ways. “With me I am not in control, if they tell me off today, I am ready to accept. I own up to the defeat. I will not point fingers at anyone,” he said.

This season the Ostriches only managed to get two wins thus far. It only took 13 minutes into the game for VTM to break the deadlock with their first shot on target. Emang Tlhasenyana put in a delightful cross for Lucky Mokoena who found the back of the net with a header. After a break in their attack by the referee, VTM scored immediately from the drop ball. The snappy winger, Kesaobaka Ramotshwaedi brilliantly cut inside the box and beat Keeagile Kgosipula with the outside of his boot to put his side two goals up before halftime.

It took Orapa 84 minutes to finally break the deadlock and pull one back. Subsitute Gofaone Mabaya capitalised on a rolling ball after it was tossed around many times inside the box. VTM responded immediately and got back their lead as Senatla Molefe stole the ball from Ivan Kameberipa and slotted it at the top corner to make it 3-1. Orapa pulled one back yet again as yet another substitute, Wilfred Muvirimi scored from a rebound which had come off the woodwork.

VTM did not waste time yet again as Tlhalefo Molebatsi found the back of the net to kill the Ostrich’s hopes. Molebatsi found himself unmarked facing Kgosipula on a one-on-one situation and made no mistake.
