VTM, Matebele headline Orange FA Cup kick off

The first round of the Last 48 fixtures promises enticing football action as new rookies in the elite league VTM FC and Matebele FC are pitied against each other.
Matebele who started their season in great form will be away as they take on VTM who on the other have had a slow start in their debut season. Matebele were crowned champions of Debswana First Division South League (DFDS) 2022–2023 while VTM ‘Bafana Ba Dijabane’ won the promotional playoffs to earn themselves a spot in the elite league.
Notwane FC versus Union Flamingo Santos is yet another fixture to be on the lookout for. In the current campaign, Santos have been on tremendous form while Notwane, the title contenders, have been regressing drastically since the start of the league.
Meanwhile, the cup is expected to commence early next year with the official dates to be communicated by Orange. The Orange Money director Gazza Motswagole revealed that the tournament would continue from Season 4 with no changes in the prize monies. The winners of the cup will walking away with P800,000.
