Man charged with indecent assault on 13-year old stepdaughter

Rising vice: Indecent assault on minors is a growing menace in the country

According to the charge sheet, it is alleged that the accused person on December 18, unlawfully and indecently sexually assaulted his step daughter by touching her buttocks and caressing her breasts.

Appearing before Gantsi Senior Magistrate, Molema Molema, the man was denied bail as the State requested the victim to be moved from the house.

The accused has been staying in the same house with the victim and his mother who is his girlfriend.

The man's next mention is on the 28 December.
