Revolving door sees eight coaches out

From surprising resignations to unceremonious departures, the door is spinning much faster as teams vie for the title and strive to avoid relegation. In a shocking move this week, VTM FC announced the departure of head coach, Leutlwetse Tshireletso, after he tendered his resignation.
Despite guiding the team to a secure position on the log, the gaffer decided to step aside, leaving the club's fans stunned. Tshireletso was the mastermind behind the rookies earning a promotion to the top-flight league and progressing from the Kweneng Division One league to the Debswana First Division South.
His replacement will have big shoes to fill, as Tshireletso had done a commendable job, securing VTM's position 10 with 16 points. At Holy Ghost, head coach Reuben Njavera Chikoti resigned amidst reports of being unpaid for six months. After 15 games, the Ghost are battling in the relegation zone, much like they did last season, currently holding 14 points.
Bottom-placed Nico United fired Wame ‘Pepezino’ Mokoke after a string of poor results at the league's start. Former Zebras coach Mogomotsi 'Teenage' Mpote has been tasked with saving the team from relegation. Nicholas Jacobs was another surprise departure with his unexpected resignation at Matebele. Jacobs received an offer in his native Namibia but left a lasting impression at Matebele.
Masitaoka parted ways with Thaloba Nthaga, who was replaced by Vincent Kgaswane. Orapa United showed Taurai Mangwiro the door and inserted Gadimang Tiiso, who was previously an assistant coach. The late Rahman Gumbo was one of the first casualties, losing his job at Morupule Wanderers in December and sadly passing away days later. Pule Mogotsi has taken over. Meanwhile, at Police XI, Maitumelo 'Junior' Letlaamoreng made way for Nelson Olebile. With an average of 15 more games still to play, more coaching changes are anticipated.
