The event attracted a number of revellers most of whom were from the Christian community and the author, Cynthia Abednego-Kgagodi's church members including the pastors and their wives. Addressing the gathering, the author said she decided to share her story to inspire people who may be going through some challenges in life not to give up.

She said a few years back, she and her family were going through the worst time in their lives because her second born son fell very ill. She added that despite all that, her faith in God became very strong. She did not give up but danced through all those tears and praised God. Being a wife, a mother and an employee, she kept on pushing and believed that by the grace of God her son would be healed. She encouraged revellers not to despair when going through difficult times but find their purpose and reclaim their identity. She also encouraged them to find a rhythm in the storm and dance through challenges

. She added that she was a living testimony of how great the Lord was. She also encouraged people to ensure that they keep people who will affect their lives positively. People who they will be able to lean on through the rainy days and they would be able to walk with them every step of their healing. She said it was through such people she and her husband managed to conquer the storms they were facing. For his part, Dr Lazarus Takawira, who is also a pastor and author, said he was blessed to have read the book which was an excellent piece from the author.

He further pointed out that in life there would always be stumbling blocks before people could reach their goals. He told them to always be prepared for the tough times. He added that even though people might go through those traps, they must believe that they would come out victorious because they serve the living God. He added that each time he reads such books, he gets inspired. He added that such books were an eye opener to many that they should stop crying for small challenges and appreciate what they had as there were people who were going through the worst.

A group of panellists also expressed their joy for having read the book saying it encouraged them to continue grinding during hard times and looking out to God to help them through difficult times. They also shared their testimonies encouraging the audience not to give up but find a way to praise God in everything.

The launch was more relaxing and fun as revellers danced and sang in between. The author, who was evidently overjoyed, sung and enjoyed every single minute of her achievement. The master of the ceremony also kept the audience captivated with her energetic presentations and jokes that she passed here and there. The audience was also treated to beautiful dances and poems from the day's performers.
