For individuals hosting classy events matching international standards, they need everything from settings, lights, sounds and even hiring musicians. The Miss Supranational organisers also explained that they pay all the bills from their own pockets.

In an interview with Arts&Culture, the pageantry’s spokesperson, Kaone Moremong, said Miss Supranational Botswana has no financial sponsor therefore everything is at the cost of the organisation. “We continue to look for sponsors and hopefully they will come on board. We have not had any monetary sponsor since the inception of Miss Supranational Botswana last year. This is despite intense efforts we put in. But we are not giving up yet. We are seeking monetary support and remain hopeful that we will eventually secure one. The winner will represent the country at the third largest beauty pageant in the world in June.

The international finale will be hosted in Poland on July 6, 2024,” she said. Moremong pointed out that they had in-kind sponsors like FifiFab and Jack's Gym who take care of the queen's fitness and grooming. She added that they also had workshop facilitators such as the Lakay Beauty Studio who came in to do a make-up tutorial for the top 30 contestants. She said they added their first ever pageant podcast to the Miss Supranational offerings that will be airing every week. The podcast, Giving Pageantry, is hosted by Mosa Balesamang, who they scouted from the first Miss Supranational competition last year. It featured their sponsors and the behind the scenes drama as well as an opportunity for the audience to get to know the contestants.

The winner will walk away with prizes worth P100, 000. She further said Miss Supranational Top 10 finalists were going for bootcamp this Saturday. “At the bootcamp, the ladies are workshoped on different life-skills and further trained for the finale by professional pageantry instructor and toast master public speaking coach. The show will be at the BNYC Hall on April 6, 2024,” she added.
