Tebogo powered to a season’s best (SB) of 19.71s finishing in second position in a tightly contested race, won by American sprinter, Courtney Lindsey. Lindsey held on to the world lead with 19.71s. The American stepped into the race with a world lead of 19.88. Bayapo Ndori proved that he is a power to reckon with in the men’s 400m this season, by clocking 44.10 to set a new world lead (WL), a meeting record (ML) and a personal best (PB). Leungo Scotch finished third registering a new personal best of 44.54 while South African based Tumo Van Wyk clocked 46.13 settling in position six. Meanwhile, Tshepiso Masalela finished third in the men’s 800m at the Xiamen Diamond League, setting a new personal best of 1:43.88.
