At Hika La Ngwanyana Cultural Festival on Saturday evening, the crowd that was already prepared holding sticks and branches waited patiently for the Tsaya Thobane singer to perform.

When it was his time to perform, he kick-started his show with his popular song, Tsaya Thobane and the revellers who had been waiting patiently could not hold themselves anymore.

They jumped over the tape that was put to restrict them from getting into the open space that was reserved for performers and danced along. Some were even carrying their children on their shoulders while others piggybacked them while dancing and enjoying the performance.

Dr Vom ended up performing on stage as the situation was uncontrollable and his fans did not want to leave his side.

That calmed down the situation a bit. However, in an attempt to control the revellers who were evidently thirsty for an event of such magnitude and good music, some security men threatened them and some of the revellers’ joy ended in tears. On the other hand, Dr Vom continued giving his fans a stellar performance since he was not aware of the situation at hand. His fans asked him to come back for a second round. After his performance, the audience decided to stay near the stage and enjoyed music from other artists. The energetic Khoisan duo kept the audience captivated with their beautiful performance.

They started their performance with their hit song where they featured Ezra Neethings dubbed, Danko, that seems to have stolen many hearts. They also performed Mpoledisa, a song that always gets everyone emotional since its dedicated to departed loved ones. They also sang yet another installment, Sethubege. Before Dr Vom, talented traditional dance and song artist, MmaAusi also dished a splendid performance. She performed songs such as Matshabadikwe, Le Nna Ke Nyetswe, Ruri Le Boleletseng Bo Malome and others.
