The event, which took place on Saturday, brought together a line-up of talented choirs, including Dineo tsa Tumelo, Angels of God, De Bruin Gospel Project, Maatla Gospel Choir, and special guests from South Africa, Dr Rebecca Malope, Jub Jub, Goitsemodimo Seleka, Universal Khatisma, and the legendary Solly Moholo.

The festival was a celebration of gospel music, unity, and compassion. The choirs delivered powerful performances that moved the audience to tears and uplifted their spirits. The energy in the room was palpable as the performers poured their hearts and souls into their music, spreading joy and hope to all those in attendance.

One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Solly Moholo took the stage to pay tribute to the 45 victims of the tragic Limpopo bus crash.

Moholo's heartfelt announcement of his plans to record a tribute song in honour of the victims, with 50% of the sales going towards assisting those who lost their loved ones, was met with resounding applause and a sense of unity among the performers and audience members. In his address to President Mokgweetsi Masisi, Moholo expressed his deep commitment to using his musical talents to offer solace and support to those affected by the tragedy.

His dedication to honouring the memory of the 45 St Engenas members served as a poignant reminder of the importance of coming together in times of tragedy and the power of music to heal wounds and offer hope.

The Mabaila Foundation Clap and Tap Music Festival Second Edition was not just a musical event, but a testament to the strength of community and the ability of music to uplift, inspire, and heal. The festival's message of love and solidarity resonated with all those in attendance, inspiring them to spread kindness and positivity in their own communities.

One of the attendees explained that the performances, tributes, and sermons had touched their souls and reminded them of the importance of coming together as a community to support one another through life's challenges. She further explained that this was a truly unforgettable event that showcased the best of music, unity, and compassion. It served as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope and joy to be found. The festival's message of love and solidarity will continue to resonate with all who attended, inspiring them to spread kindness and positivity in their own communities.
