In an affidavit filed with the Francistown magistrate court Makhiwane argues that Ntsima’s principal residence is in Francistown South not Francistown East. Ntsima who is a former BCP member will appear in court on Thursday to defend himself against allegations levelled by Makhiwane.
“Ntsima should not have registered in Francistown East because he resides at Block 9 House Number 13352, Kgaga Street in Francistown South,” reads the main content of Makhiwane’s affidavit.
However, there are reports that Ntsima relocated to Selepa in Francistown East a few months ago. That was after the Botswana People’s Party (BPP) secretary general was chosen as the UDC candidate for Francistown East. The UDC is an opposition coalition featuring the BPP.
