Da Rosa names young squad for COSAFA Cup

Da Rosa has chosen a different squad from the one that took part in the back-to-back 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Uganda and Somalia. His selection has young players, some from the First Division league and most will be in line to win their first Zebras cap. UB Hawks captain, Bonno Sepako, who had a brilliant run in the Orange FA Cup, is in the provisional squad. Other surprise inclusions are Jovan Nikolic and Lizo Skweyiya. Nikolic plays as a goalkeeper in Portugal while Skweyiya plies his trade in the United States of America (USA) as a forward. The COSAFA tournament is billed for June 26 to July 7. Zebras opponents were confirmed last week Friday as they are in the same group as defending champions Bafana Bafana, Mozambique, and Eswatini in Group A. The full provisional list
