The song, which was dropped at the beginning of June, can be classified as Afro Piano with a touch of Rhumba. She features two other upcoming artists, Petit Poison and Emlake. It was recorded at Petit Poison Production. In an interview with Showtime, Slido Ras said the song was inspired by people who appreciate her talent. She said she also wanted to appreciate people who have stuck with her through thick and thin. She added that she did everything with Emlake and Petit Poison since they volunteered to be with her all the way. “The song carries a heavy message, touch of sadness and comfort to all those who feel like giving up in whatever they are doing.
As an artist, I worked with many artists such as Franco, More Fire to name but a few and it really made me think outside the box, to be bold in my thinking. Since I have been in the industry, I was able to work and interact with international artists and get booked. In the past three months, I have been to Limpopo, Turfloop and Mahikeng to name but just a few places where I was booked to perform and other works,” she said. Furthermore, Slido Ras pointed out that plans are underway to launch the single, adding that she is already shooting the song's music video. Born Lydiah Annah, Slido Ras also said she is available for bookings in any events and also open for collaborations.
