. The book titled, ‘Technical Analysis in Intermediate Trading level’, is Sethedi’s first as an author. In an interview with Arts&Culture, Sethedi said he wrote the book to empower people about the forex market. He said many people know what the “forex market is” but are yet to discover their trading model. He explained that he wrote the book to give people an insight into how to approach the market using strategies that he had not just written but studied and implemented in the market through trading. “The book has 48 pages and seven chapters. I was able to repeat what I have been doing over and over again to an extent that I wrote my own notes down, which later made me think of compiling them to make them a full book. The most targeted group is the youth and anyone who has passion for learning. From the very few that I managed to sell the book to, they are testifying that the book is really insightful and loaded with relevant trading concepts,” he said.

However, he pointed out that gathering information to come up with the book was not easy. He said it took him two years to study, compile and complete the book. He added that he also faced self-doubt more, more especially when he was really down, low and had less support to keep going, especially in this forex industry. Furthermore, he said he did not only want to see himself as a great writer but aspires to add value to people’s lives worldwide through teachings and illustrations of what he would be writing about. He also stated that chapter seven of the book is his most favourite because it goes to an extent to show how to approach the market technically using drawings but also through the market charts trade where captured on a daily basis. “This book is for people who already know what’s happening in the forex market (intermediates) and can work for them if they only implement what is being addressed. Forex should be treated like a business, not the gambling industry, and when well learned, it can be another stream of income generation in the long run,” he said.

A Bachelor of Science Environmental Health 2021 graduate from the University of Botswana, Sethedi says due to unemployment, he has been forced to become an entrepreneur. He explained that he also has a forex mentorship programme where he teaches and illustrates his trading models to people under Baby Steps Capital. Sethedi is also a part-time forex trader and electronics devices under Pasteur’s Innovations to make ends meet.
