NOTICE - POSTPONEMENT OF THE 13th BEAPA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Members are hereby informed that due to a lack of quorum, the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Botswana Environmental Assessment Practitioners’ Association (BEAPA) which was to be held on Friday, 30th August 2024 at 08.00 Hours at Grand Aria has been postponed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the postponed 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BEAPA will be held on Friday, 4th October 2024, at Grand Aria Hotel from 08:00 hours.

Business of the day will include the following tentative Agenda: -

1) Review, consideration and adoption of the minutes of the last AGM held on the 4th of August 2023;

2) Presentation and consideration of the Board Chairperson’s annual report covering the activities of the Association since the last AGM;

Resolution Number 1: Adoption of the Board Chairperson’s annual report

3) Presentation and consideration of the Treasurer’s Financial Report for the Year ended March 31st 2024;

Resolution Number 2: Adoption of the Treasurer’s Financial annual report

4) Presentation and consideration of the Audited Financial Statement for the Year ended March 31st 2024;

Resolution Number 3: Adoption of the 2024 Audited Financial Statement

5) Presentation and consideration of the Mentorship Guidelines;

Resolution Number 4: Adoption of the Mentorship Guidelines

6) Presentation and consideration of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Policy & Guidelines;

Resolution Number 5: Adoption of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy & Guidelines

7) Presentation and consideration of the Guidelines for Re-registration of Deregistered Practitioners;

Resolution Number 6: Adoption of the Guidelines for Re-registration of Deregistered Practitioners

8) To transact any other business deemed necessary for discussion at the AGM.

Attendance at the AGM will be both physical and virtual. Members are requested to confirm their availability to attend the AGM before the close of business on Friday 20th September 2024 by emailing registrationofficer@eapb.org.bw or admin@eapb.org.bw.
