Born Thato Molupe, the 23-year-old got his big break last year and has been making musical waves in South Africa where he is based and other neighbouring countries. It was his song - Wa Nkutlwa Na that caught people’s attention.

The marketing & entertainment manager at Dladleng Entertainment Centre, Rethabile Rammala otherwise known as Da Coli said revellers should expect a very stunning performance and look forward to some of his latest hits such as Ntlohelleng, Dikeledi, Taemane & Botle ba ngoanenoa - which is trending on tik tok.

He said Wave Rhyder performs Afro pop music in his mother tongue - sesotho which makes him unique. 'He has been gaining traction on social media platforms week in week out. He will perform at the club so, we have a lineup of DJs and how will support him on the day,' he said. He will perform alongside other Djs such as Da Coloi, Eze, TKAY and Fablo Da Deejay.

Da Coli said Dladleng Entertainment Centre continues to live up to it's promise to bring the best for it's patrons.

'We are a leading entertainment place and we want to maintain that reputation by bringing the best for our patrons. This event is another way of continuing that legacy that we have built over the years,' he said.
