The family of Seabelo Tlhaselo has expressed gratitude as tributes continue to pour in following the passing of the transport and logistics magnate. Tlhaselo, the owner and founder of Seabelo Express, died on Sunday after allegedly committing suicide.

Speaking to MmegiOnline this morning, the family’s spokesperson and younger brother to the deceased, Victor Tlhaselo, shared that it is quite comforting to see that the nation is in mourning with the family.

Batswana took to social media to pass on condolences since the news surfaced that Tlhaselo is no more.

“I would like to thank the nation for all the condolence messages, and we are grateful for the comfort, and we will ask God to be there for us,” Victor said in gratitude.

Providing insights into the funeral arrangements laid out for his brother, Victor stated that Tlhaselo will be laid to rest on Saturday.

“As the family members, during our discussions, we have decided to bury our brother at Ramotswa, which is his home village, and the funeral proceedings will be at his home, still in Ramotswa,” he said.

On funeral plans, Victor indicated that the family has yet to decide when to host the memorial service for the business mogul. He said they will communicate the details in the week. “It is indeed true that my brother passed on Sunday evening at his home in Phase 4 behind Game City mall,” Victor said.
