Speaking to the media after his team played to a goalless draw against league champions, Galaxy on Saturday, ‘Piro’ said he is satisfied with how his team played thus far. It was the second game that GU played to a draw, after playing to a one-all stalemate against cross-town rivals, Township Rollers, in a season opener played at the National Stadium a fortnight ago. GU are currently in position 11 on the log standings. His team was left to rue missed chances in the game against Galaxy, but the gaffer could not fault his players after the match. “They did the best they could do. I am happy with them. I will take the point and go home. I am alright and content with the point we got here. We will see what happens again on Wednesday. We have another important game on Wednesday,” Moloi said.

Moloi said his team played well against a tough opponent in Jwaneng Galaxy and could have won the match as they had several entries into the opposition box. “If you look at the entries we had there in the box where now the game was end-to-end. The only thing I didn’t like in the second half was that the game was too open for both sides, end-to-end stuff. Tactically that wasn’t good for us but I like the fact that we had several entries and we could have scored at least two goals honestly if I were to speak but I am content with the point. We have two points, they have four. We will take the games and see how the midweek game will go,” he added. Moloi said he believes he has a good squad to compete for the league this season. Galaxy coach, Morena Ramoreboli, said this was a tough match against tough opponents. He said his team played into GU hands by dropping the intensity of the game. “They wanted us to play a bit slow because they knew if we played quicker we might get spaces behind their defenders. They were easily slowing us down, dropping and forming two lines closer to their box which is a space where I think we were supposed to play more to feet and when they see us play to feet, they were pushing the line up. When they did that, there were spaces behind. We just needed to see how we could use that space. But we did not identify that,” said

Ramoreboli. Ramoreboli said he was also content with his team’s performance, saying they are yet to reach maximum match fitness after just two games. The teams
