The counting of votes is still going on in Rakops Junior School and Tsogwane was trailing the UDC parliamentary candidate Sam Digwa by a large margin.

As at 8: 28 am, Digwa had garnered 5149 votes while Tsogwane had 3189 votes.

Thomas Kgethenyane of the BCP is in third position with 1351 votes.

He said: 'If I lose this election I will never engage in active politics again. I also want to congratulate in advance in the event he wins this race.'

About 20 ballot boxes are yet to be counted.
