Operations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Project Management and Delivery of all Projects in Franklin Electric Botswana.

• Do designs of pump stations for tender and implementation of WUC and Mine Projects.

• Do designs and select equipment for borehole installations, including Solar Installations.

• Oversee the Service Center operations for Franklin Electric.

• Maintenance Management of the buildings and equipment owned by Franklin Electric

• Oversee Purchasing of equipment and data filing of all records to keep accurate track of project costs

EXPERIENCE

• 20 years minimum experience including design and construction of water projects and pump stations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Degree – Civil/Mechanical University Degree

• ERB registered as a Professional Engineer with a valid Practicing Certificate

OTHER SKILLS

• Must have extensive knowledge of hydraulic design and a proven track record in this field

• Must have project management background.

• Computer literate i.e. Microsoft packages and J.D.E. would be an advantage

• Valid driver’s license and must be prepared to travel extensively.

• Prior experience dealing with Water Utilities Corporation, Debswana and other Mining Houses in Botswana
