Specially Elected MPs to be selected tomorrow

The meeting, scheduled for 2pm at the Main Chamber of the National Assembly, is in preparation for the 13th Parliament.
'The President, who in terms of Section 58 (1), shall be entitled to speak and vote in all proceedings of the National Assembly. Furthermore, the President is entitled to nominate six candidates for election,' Silas Sehularo said in a statement.
Newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) will be afforded the same opportunity to select their preferred SEMPs before voting can commence. Voting will be done via secret ballot.
Meanwhile, President Boko's inauguration ceremony has been scheduled for Friday at the National Stadium in Gaborone, which has been declared a paid public holiday.
