Limkokwing's 388 graduates urged 'to stay curious'

This year, Limkokwing University celebrated a total of 388 graduates from various faculties, including Design and Technology, Architecture and Built Tourism, Tourism, Business, and Communication, Media, and Broadcasting.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Limkokwing Council Chairperson Dr Ditshupo Maje stated that graduating is a great milestone which is unparalleled. He cautioned graduates not to expect life to be easy post-gradation, especially given the current unemployment rate in the country.
'We celebrate all of your achievements and this is a matter of hard work, growth, and perseverance. The journey to this hasn't been easy; you faced many challenges that were insurmountable,' he said.
'This isn't the end, but the beginning. The world needs you now more than ever and it needs your voice to speak up for a change and I know that the road may be uncertain,' Maje urged the graduates.
Maje urged the graduates to apply the same focus they had in their studies to their lives after university, as this could be key to their success.
'The grit that you showed is what will take you anywhere you want to be in life. The world is full of challenges but it is also brimming with opportunities and you have the opportunity to shape the world,' Maje said.
The council chair further said the graduands should always be curious as it will aid them in getting closer to their dreams and achieving success.
'As you set off to your next adventures, I implore you to stay curious, keep learning, and always stay true to yourself,' he said.
Maje advised the graduates that Limkokwing will always be their home, regardless of the different stages they reach in their lives. He closed off by stating that the university has equipped them with the necessary tools for success, and now it is up to them to create opportunities and explore the world.
